Pennsylvania Learn to Ski Day Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association, Shawnee Mountain will offer 100 Introductory Learn to Ski Packages (beginner lift, lesson & rental) at a cost of $15 each. All proceeds will be donated to Bushkill Outreach. Reservations required and limited to first 100. Ext 210.

5 - Sat. Weekend Ski Training programs begin. Junior Race and Junior Development Team Programs run for 10 weekends. Ext. 254

5 - Sat. NASTAR Race series begins. Offered weekends throughout the season. NASTAR is a National Recreational Racing Series giving every day skiers of all ages the thrill of ski racing. For details and race schedule call. Ext. 249

6 - Sun. Girl Scout Day Discounts on lift tickets, rentals and lessons for all Girl Scouts. Ext. 223

8 - Tues. Ladies’ Day Ski Program - The Pocono’s longest running Women’s ski program begins its 27th year. Beginner through Expert levels welcome. Five consecutive Tuesdays. Ext. 254

14 -18 - Mon - Fri. - Homeschool “Winter Fun Week” Sponsored by ENOCH of NJ, Homeschoolers from all over NJ and Eastern PA will join together to enjoy family time while skiing and snowboarding. 10 - Sun. - Race Against Cancer Recreational giant slalom race, NASTAR format open to all skiers and snowboarders. All race proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society. Ext. 254

24 - Sun. Shawnee Winter Carnival Day Sponsored by Shawnee Mountain, Coca-Cola and Budweiser Beer, this event will include fun activities open to all. Demonstrations, Ice Sculptor, vendors, product sampling, giveaways, outdoor barbeque, entertainment, apres ski party and more.

2 - Sun. - Shawnee Rail Jam Strut your stuff on Shawnee Mountain’s 3000’ Bushkill Park. Judges will be awarding the best overall talent with tons of gear. Other prizes will be drawn by bib numbers to be sure everyone leaves with some swag. This event is open to skiers and riders of all abilities.

8 & 9 - Sat. & Sun. - 18h Annual Pocono Scout Weekend Discounts on lift tickets, rentals and lessons for all scouts. Special lodging packages available. Free merit badge testing & Scout Race. Ext. 223.

14, 15 & 16 - Fri.-Sun. - Military Appreciation Weekend As a special “Thank You” all active Military and their immediate family (spouse & children) will receive FREE Lift Tickets and Ski or Snowboard Rentals for any of the 3 days. For all Retired Military and Reservists and their immediate family a discount of 50% off Lift Tickets will be offered. Valid military picture ID is required.

16 - Sun. - 25th Annual Costume Carnival Day Those in costume receive FREE day lift ticket. Costume parade and judging at 1:00 pm with great prizes. Ext. 229

16 - 22nd Annual Club Shawnee Party - By invitation only. Open to all Club Shawnee Members. Ext. 229
