Pennsylvania Ski Areas Make it Easy for Children and Adults to Learn Skiing and Snowboarding with Special January Deals

January 2011 ….. January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month.   22 resorts throughout the state of Pennsylvania will offer $5 off their already low midweek Learn to Ski / Snowboard packages during the month of January.   Packages include beginner lift ticket, lesson and rental equipment.  The $5 off coupon can be downloaded at http://www.skipa.com/learn-to-skiride/learn-a-snowsport-month.  Additional savings throughout the month of January 2011 are being offered at these Pennsylvania ski resorts and are posted on our website.

Blue Mountain Ski Area in Palmerton, PA is offering a Learn to Ski Program in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association.  This is program is held every Sunday in January, January 9th, 16^th, 23^rd, and 30^th. With this package, guests get half off our First Time Lesson Package, which includes a lifts for our three school hills, lessons and rentals for only $28.50! The Learn to Ski Program is perfect for people who have never tried the sport and are over the age of 6.

At Camelback Ski Resort in Tannersville Learn to Ski or Burton, Learn to Ride programs are only $29 for ages 6 and older and are available every Tuesday and Thursday for the month of January 2011 only.  Packages must be purchased online at their website … www.skicamelback.com.

Shawnee Mountain at Shawnee on Delaware will kick off the month-long program Thursday, January 6^th with 100 introductory Learn to Ski/Snowboard Packages for $15.  Reservations are required … call 570-421-7231.  For the remainder of the month Shawnee Mountain will offer a discount coupon good for a $59 Learn to Ski /Snowboard package.  Coupons are available online at www.shawneemt.com beginning Jan 2.

January - Learn to Ski / Snowboard Month is a community outreach initiative organized by national, regional and local associations in the snow sports industry. The initiative encourages those new to skiing and snowboarding to take a beginner lesson and it urges current participants to enhance their skills by taking a lesson from a professional instructor.
