Ski for $5 at Camelback and Help the Community
TANNERSVILLE, PA – Camelback Mountain Resort is feeling the Christmas spirit and this year put a twist on the traditional "Skiing Santas" promotion by teaming up with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Bridge, Monroe County (Big Brothers). In the past, Camelback has given a complimentary open to close lift ticket to anyone dressed in a full Christmas costume, including Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Rudolf or an elf on December 24th. This year, Camelback wanted to go the extra mile and give back to the community with this fun tradition, by asking for a $5 donation to Big Brothers for the lift ticket for anyone dressed in costume. All of the details are on the event calendar at skicamelback.com.
“It is very easy this time of year to get caught up in the commercialism of the holiday and it is nice to take a step back and truly appreciate the ‘season of giving’. I think it is great to see everyone dressed in Christmas garb out on the slopes, but in the end, the best part is knowing that we are helping a local organization” said Bill Toye, Vice President of Mountain Operations at Camelback Mountain Resort. Toye continued, “In the Christmas spirit, we are continuing to make snow and try to get the mountain covered for Santa, as well as our guests. Luckily I have several snowmakers and groomers out there that have 20+ years experience and they are magicians with the snow guns.”
Event is December 24th from 8:30am-11:00am with a group picture at noon on the Thirsty Camel Deck
All guests please report to Guest Services

Camelback is continuing on the cutting edge by adding a 50’ x 50’ airbag that tops out at 12 feet tall….just like stunt persons use in Hollywood films.
