SEVEN SPRINGS MOUNTAIN RESORT CELEBRATES 26 YEARS OF AUTUMNFEST
SEVEN SPRINGS, Pa. – Seven Springs Mountain Resort presents the 26th annual Autumnfest, a celebration of all things fall, including the extraordinary foliage that has begun to color the Laurel Highlands.
This year, Autumnfest will have themed weekends. The first weekend, Oct. 2-3, will focus on chocolate – dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate and more. There will be numerous chocolatiers throughout the festival grounds with all types of melt-in-your-mouth chocolate treats. Oktoberfest-themed weekends will be Oct. 9-10 and 16-17 the final weekend, Oct. 23-24 will be pumpkin-themed. Each weekend will feature vendors with an array of themed keepsakes, arts, crafts and products.
For the children, a large tent of fun-filled arts and crafts, games and activities will keep them busy throughout the weekend. There will be performances by the captivating and talented Zany Umbrella Circus and a variety of musical entertainment.
Besides the musical entertainment and novelty acts, guests can stroll through the arts and crafts bazaar, perusing the wares of more than 80 artisans and crafters, in search of the perfect keepsake. Admission to the craft show is free.
After all the fun and games, the Seven Springs’ award-winning culinary staff will take care of grumbling tummies with an expansive buffet serving carved top round of beef, bratwurst, Italian sausage, potato pancakes, and much more! Other tasty treats can be found at the Baker’s Pantry and Gingerbread Dreams, with a selection of freshly prepared candies, breads, desserts, pastries and pasta to name a few things.
Save enough room to stop by the Foggy Goggle during festival hours! Pull up a seat, watch the game and sip on a cold German beer or a piping hot cup of spiced cider.
Chairlift rides to the top of the mountain will also be available. This relaxing ride is the perfect way to see the turning of the leaves in all their golden glory. Mountaintop tours can also be taken via the Alpine Slide, mountain biking and hiking trails.
Seven Springs’ Autumnfest is the perfect place to make a new memory or carry on a family tradition. Come up for the day or make it a weekend away!
