Snowmaking Resumed Last Night at Camelback Mountain Resort

TANNERSVILLE, Pa. – Camelback Mountain Resort began making snow last Tuesday, November 12, 2013 which was the earliest start in its 50 year history. The snowmaking team and the arsenal of high-powered, high-efficiency snow guns will resume snowmaking tonight and continue through this week and well into the following week.

"The cold weather is back and our snowmaking crew is excited to start making snow again in preparation of starting our 50th anniversary season," said Charles Blier, EVP/General Manager, Camelback Mountain Resort. "We will continue to make snow each night this week and the temperatures long range show good snowmaking conditions for day and night operation getting us ready to open the resort on December 6th or even earlier."
