About Ski Big Bear Mountain

Welcome to Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain. The new Masthope Lodge is a perfect compliment to the eighteen trails, five lifts and 100% snowmaking. Ski, snowboard, snow tube or just relax and enjoy the view from the new Mountaintop Village. Located just two hours from New York City, Ski Big Bear is a great family adventure on your very own semi-private mountain.

Terrain
Ski Big Bear offers terrain for every member of the family. Beginners can take quick trips down Snowbird or as they improve venture onto Whispering Run to the Little Bear Chairlift. More confident beginners can comfortably travel all the way to the bottom of the mountain via Eagles Pass.

Grizzly Trail and Upper Polar Bear trail offer opportunities for great carving turns. For even more excitement visit Thundercloud or Screamin' Demon.

Boarders and freestylers will enjoy the jumps, hits, ramps, boxes, jibs, rails and other constructed and natural features in the Terrain Park.

Amenities

The new Masthope Lodge and Mountaintop Village provide a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere when you are not on the slopes. The Scramble Food Court and Summit Grill Room will cure those hunger pangs in the Lodge. If you are craving a freshly made deli-style sandwich, visit the Masthope Marketplace. The Summit Bar provides après-ski libations in a relaxed social environment. Visit the Lodge Arcade if you need a moment to warm up inside.

The Skier Services Building has a ski shop with everything from gifts to goggles, lip balm to mittens. The Skier Services Building is also home to the Snow Sports School and Equipment Rental Shop. Reserve a spot with a private instructor to get that individual attention that is sure to improve your skills. Ski or snowboard equipment is available to rent for the day or the season.

Ski Big Bear overlooks the Scenic Upper Delaware River. Bald eagles and white-tail deer are local residents. The resort is surrounded by beautiful mountain inns and bed and breakfasts. Located in a private community the crowds and chaos are slow to find this corner of Pennsylvania.
