Snö Mountain Resort will celebrate “Learn to Ski and Snowboard
Month” in January, 2013.  Snö Mountain will offer huge discounts of over 50% off various
beginner packages, to encourage learning of winter sports for children and adults, at a great
price!

Adult lessons for ages 11 and up will be only $35 each, and Sup er K ids  lessons for ages
6-10 will be $40 each.  All beginner lesson packages at Snö Mountain include a beginner area lift
ticket, beginner lesson, and rental.  Lessons will be offered to ages 6 and up through the month
of January on the following dates:   

• January 6th, 13th, and 20th: Ages 6 and up; Lessons at 10am
• January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th: Ages 6-10; Lessons at 10am and 1pm.  Ages 11 and up; Lessons at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm.

Customers must pre-purchase beginner packages online 24 hours in advance at
www.snomtn.com.  Online purchase will become available as Snö Mountain opens for the 2012-
2013 winter season.

Learn to Ski & Snowboard Month & Bring a Friend Initiative at Shawnee Mountain!

January 2013 is National Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month and Shawnee Mountain is pleased to announce its participation in this nationwide effort to get people outside and enjoying winter activities.  We encourage those new to snow sports to take a lesson and those who are experienced, to bring a friend or the family.

Shawnee Mountain will kick off the month-long promotion on Thursday, January 3rd with 100 introductory Learn to Ski or Snowboard Packages for the cost of $20 each.  All proceeds from this one day promotion will be donated to the Bushkill Outreach Program.  Reservations are required and can be made by calling 570-421-7231 ext. 210.  Some restrictions do apply.  

For the remainder of January, Shawnee Mountain will be offering a discount coupon good for a $59 Learn to Ski or Snowboard Package available online at www.shawneemt.com.  This package includes a lift ticket, rental equipment and a first time group lesson.
