Ski for $5 at Camelback and Help the Community

TANNERSVILLE, PA – Camelback Mountain Resort is feeling the Christmas spirit and this year put a twist on the traditional "Skiing Santas" promotion by teaming up with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Bridge, Monroe County (Big Brothers). In the past, Camelback has given a complimentary open to close lift ticket to anyone dressed in a full Christmas costume, including Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Rudolf or an elf on December 24th. This year, Camelback wanted to go the extra mile and give back to the community with this fun tradition, by asking for a $5 donation to Big Brothers for the lift ticket for anyone dressed in costume. JFBB Gives Back for the Fourth Consecutive Season

JFBB makes their top priority making snow and being the first open in eastern Pennsylvania for the seventh consecutive season. Thanks to the hard work put forth by our dedicated mountain operations staff and talented snow making crew, we will kick off the 2011‐12 ski and snowboard season with Big Boulder opening Sunday December 11 at 12:00pm with Freedom PARK for a day of features, fun and freedom.

Hidden Valley to Open Slopes for 2011-12 Season on Dec. 10

 

 

Hidden Valley, Pa. – Hidden Valley Resort will open its slopes 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. with limited skiing on the Valley-side slopes Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, weather permitting. The Bobcat slope and Bobcat conveyor will be open on Saturday and with snowmaking in progress, the resort plans to add Continental and Rambler slopes and to operate the Sunrise/Sunset chairlift Sunday. Ski/board tickets will be $20 for adults and children. Group lessons will be offered at a pre-season rate of $15 per person and the Ski Lodge Express cafeteria and Glaciers Pub will be open.
