The Ski Scoop for Winter 2021-2022

The seven-acre trail will be named very soon and is accessible by the Comet Quad Chairlift that connects into the mountain’s Paradise trail. Across 171 skiable acres, Blue Mountain has some of the longest trails in the state – 40 – including 14 beginner, six intermediate, 11 expert, four expert only and five terrain parks. There are 16 lifts to accommodate skiers to ensure speedy transportation up and down the trails. Fully lit night skiing trails are open until 9 p.m., and skiing hours on weekdays start at 9 a.m. and at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday and specified winter holidays.

Beginner Ski and Snowboard Lessons for Family and Friends at the Learning Center

The Beginner Lessons are geared to snow enthusiasts who are three years and older with at least one person in the lesson group being 13-plus to accompany the younger children. This lesson is for first timers and beginners who choose either a ski or snowboard lesson and the beginner lift ticket is included, which allows participants to practice on the valley carpets and use the Valley Triple and Vista chairlifts. Ski or snowboard equipment rental is also included with the lesson. The lesson length is at least one hour on the snow.
Lessons are purchased online, and space is limited. Purchase in advance is highly recommended and is discounted at $179 for first person pricing and $129 for each additional person.
