SKI BIG BEAR UPCOMING EVENTS
- Oktoberfest (October 19, 2024 12:00 pm)
Ski Big Bear, Lackawaxen
New for 2023 - 2024
Located just two hours from New York City, Ski Big Bear is a great winter ski destination situated on its own semi-private mountain. It’s a great option if you’re looking for convenience from the city without the crowds. The summit lodge, with a full service restaurant and bar, is the perfect complement to the 18 trails, 7 lifts and 100% snowmaking.
Terrain
Ski Big Bear offers terrain for every member of the family. Beginners can take quick trips down Snowbird, or as they improve, venture onto Whispering Run to the Little Bear Chairlift. More confident beginners can comfortably travel all the way to the bottom of the mountain via Eagles Pass. Grizzly Trail and Upper Polar Bear trail offer opportunities for great carving turns. For even more excitement, visit Thundercloud or Screamin' Demon. Boarders and freestylers will enjoy the jumps, hits, ramps, boxes, jibs, rails and other constructed and natural features in the Terrain Park.
Expanded snowmaking capabilities with two new compressors, an air cooler and additional snow guns as well as new rental equipment.
