Skiers and snowboarders can anticipate an array of new experiences from top-of-the-line snowmaking technology to thrilling trails just a short drive away from Philadelphia and New York City.
What's New for 2023-24 Season?
This season, Blue Mountain unveils its cutting-edge snowmaking arsenal, featuring 74 TechnoAlpin TL8 Stick Guns and 26 TechnoAlpin Fan Guns—all automated—to complement one of the nation's largest snowmaking systems. Additionally, approximately 20,000 feet of piping has been replaced to ensure more efficient snowmaking.
Unmatched Terrain and Exciting Offerings:
Spanning 171 skiable acres, Blue Mountain boasts diverse terrain with 40 trails, including 14 for beginners, six intermediate, 11 expert, four exclusively for experts and five terrain parks. The resort's 46-lane Snow Tubing Park, among the country's largest and fastest, is slated to open December 8.
First Trails to Open:
Skiers and snowboarders can prepare to conquer as many as 13 trails on opening day, including Paradise, Vista, Burma Road, Freefall, Tut’s Lane and the newly named Barb’s Way in honor of the resort’s former owner, Barb Green.
Enhanced Dining Experiences:
This season introduces new culinary delights, such as the Bavarian-style courtyard of Brats & Beer Truck, La Colombe Coffee available at Summit and Valley Lodges and the newly revamped Wood Fired Pizza & Pub, replacing Cornerstone. These additions complement existing favorites like Slopeside Pub & Grill, Waffle Cabin, Tipsy Taco, Happy Trails, Street Sweet, Last Run Lounge, Trails End Bar and more, catering to the cravings of snow sports enthusiasts.
