WHAT: Today, Jack Frost announced that it will open its slopes at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4 – making it the first resort in Pennsylvania to open for the 2024/25 ski and ride season. Media are invited to join eager guests to experience the first turns of the season at Jack Frost.
Opening Day Activities:
Our Opening Day celebration will include a ski through banner break on One Park, a live DJ (Appalachian Entertainment) slopeside, Donut Churro Rings, Swag, & Coffee (while supplies last). We are planning to offer One Park, Snowflake and Powder Puff slopes, serviced by Pocono and Tobyhanna lifts.
Looking Ahead to the 2024/25 Season:
Guests can expect another great season of skiing and riding at Jack Frost with a full events calendar including Women In Powder First FridaysWomen In Powder First Fridays, Topsy Turvy Day, Saturday Smores, and live music at E2000.

BROADCAST AND INTERVIEWS: Broadcast media and journalists looking
for interviews are encouraged to RSVP to
requests. For those looking to broadcast or capture the ceremonial ski through
banner break, you will need to RSVP and arrive prior to 8:45 a.m. at the Main
Lodge. Virtual interviews are also available.
PASS & LIFT TICKET INFORMATION
Lift tickets will be limited every day, across every resort, during the
2024/25 season in order to preserve the guest experience at each resort. Lift
ticket availability will be visible on the lift tickets page of www.jfbb.com. If tickets are sold out online, guests will not be able to purchase
them at ticket windows. Passes, including Epic Day Passes, and Pass Holder
benefit tickets will not be limited. There is also no impact to guests who
enroll in ski and ride school lessons that include lift access, or to employee
and dependent pass access.

Download the new My Epic app to use Mobile Pass
this winter. Guests can buy their Pass online, activate and store it in the My Epic app, and scan their phone hands free at the lifts using
low-energy Bluetooth® technology. Mobile Pass and Mobile Lift
Tickets will be available at Vail Resorts’ 37 North American resorts during the
2024/25 season.
My Epic app will also feature enhanced stats tracking,
Find My Friends, interactive trail maps – and with Buddy and Ski With a Friend
Tickets available in app, your guest can skip the ticket line and head straight
to the lift with you.
