- Get caught up on what’s new and coming soon to local resorts

winter sports and more advanced skiers to expand their skillset. This season,
new and expanded lessons and development programming will be launched at five
of the region’s resorts.
- Seven Springs: Not only does Seven Springsoffer an expansive on-site hotel, indoor pool, an arcade, bowling, and snow tubing, the resort will expand its family-friendly amenities to include new full and half-day children’s group lessons, along with previously offered private children’s lesson programs. During their lesson, they will build up their confidence and learn new techniques from professional instructors who are specially trained to work with children. In addition, the resort will offer two new seasonal development programs - Her Turns Academy for women and Mountain Adventure Team for children ages 8-17. Seven Springs will also introduce 300 new parking spaces for the 2024/25 ski season and a full roster of events like Ullr Fest, holiday celebrations and Toyota Takeover Weekend, as well as après entertainment at the Foggy Goggle and Main Lodge.
- Laurel Mountain: Home to the steepest skiable slope in Pennsylvania, Laurel Mountain will host a new seasonal steep terrain program designed to help fine-tune advanced riding skills for local skiing and to prepare for trips to resorts like Vail Mountain, Breckenridge, and Whistler-Blackcomb.
- Hidden Valley Resort: The slopes and trails at Hidden Valley Resortare ideal for beginners and families to learn and grow together. This season, the resort will launch two new seasonal programs – Valley Adventure Team for youth ages 8-17 and Snow Angels women’s program. Reservations for the new seasonal programs at Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, and Laurel Mountain will open online August 27. Reservations for group and private lessons, including full and half-day children’s programs, will launch online in early October.
- Whitetail Resort: Kids’ Mountain Camp will debut at Whitetail Resort this season offering full and half-day programming for children ages 4-6 and 7-12 of all ability levels. This new program provides parents with the time to explore the slopes on their own while the kids learn and develop their downhill skills.
- Liberty Mountain Resort: After a successful inaugural season, Liberty Mountain Resort will expand its capacity to welcome more little learners ages 4-6 to its full and half-day Kids’ Academy.
- Roundtop: Roundtop will celebrate the resort’s 60th anniversary with endless opportunities for fun on the slopes. Plans are underway now for off-slope fun like special events, après activations and entertainment. In addition, investments in snowmaking at the resort, including new snow guns, will enhance the guest experience and lead to more powder on popular trails.
- Jack Frost / Big Boulder: At Jack Frost and Big Boulder, resort teams have been hard at work making improvements to snowmaking systems by installing new pipe, valves, and hoses, as well as adding new snow guns and LED slope lights to provide the best experience for guests day and night.

early access to Vail Resorts’ Winter Getaway Sale, offering discounted lodging rates for a limited time across hotels and vacation rentals at mountain resorts including Seven Springs and Liberty. With Epic Mountain Rewards, Pass Holders will be able to save up to 35% off room rates. Pass Holders can book preferred lodging beginning August 22 by logging into their Epic Pass account and selecting the sale. Public access will be available online from August 27-September 3, 2024.

Download the new My Epic app to use Mobile Pass this winter.
