The Pennsylvania Outdoor Recreation Association (PORA) is a professional association that supports its members by being the voice of Pennsylvania Outdoor Recreation Industry and actively monitoring state and federal legislation to inform members on issues that directly impact the outdoor industry. PORA works to ensure our collective voice works towards a favorable business environment for outdoor recreation in Pennsylvania
PORA utilizes the collective resources of members, strategic relationships and partnerships to facilitate collaboration among members and other stakeholders to share best practices and resources.
PORA drives awareness of careers in outdoor recreation on behalf of members. PORA works with secondary educators, post-secondary institutions, and regional workforce development agencies to build awareness about careers in outdoor recreation.
